Skyhills Road

About the Build

This home draws inspiration from Spanish architecture, featuring elegant arches, minimal roof overhangs, and soft, rounded corners on both the drywall and trim. The design embraces a timeless theme, using materials such as brick and rough-sawn beams to evoke the charm of an older home. For the finishes, we opted for a classic face-frame kitchen and an island designed to resemble a piece of furniture, paired with a European-style range. The unlacquered brass fixtures were essential to achieving the desired aesthetic, and their natural patina will only enhance with age, adding character over time.

The owners sought something unique, distinct from the typical custom homes in the area, and I believe we've achieved that by creating a space that exudes quality and invites warmth the moment you step inside.
